Preparation Strategy:-
Engineering Management subject is easy subject but its like theory subject, you can get better grade if u can study for 1 month you have to remember the things. I have bought/read the text book Engineering Management by AK Guptha, S Chand & Co Ltd its sufficient for the for this subject another bookEngineering Design by G Dieteris also good book, you can also buy other books referred by IEI. I have bought Jain Brothers solved papers also for this subject. Which you can carry anywhere and refer whenever you will get time like when traveling in train, bus etc. After having this, i have referred excellent study notes from NPTEL Site. They are awesome.
Then I have bought NPTEL DVDs for Engineering Management which has 40 Hrs lessons by IIT Professor. Access the course from this link. These 40 Hrs video lessons are free to download from NPTEL and youtube (13 GB).However you can get these videos in DVDs or in 16 GB SD Card.
For Engineering Management subject I have searched NPTEL site and selected the video courseConcept of Management and Evolution of Management thoughtby IISc Bangalore, Prof. K.B. Akhileshwhich matches the syllabus of the AMIE Engineering Management Subject and very useful. If you want to get the course, click and select theConcept of Management and Evolution of Management thoughtfrom the list of available courses and follow the onscreen procedure. You will get the DVDs or SD Card in minimum possible time. I got within 3 days.
