Hi Friends, IEI Has published a list of Students passed AMIE Section A in Winter 2016 with the postal tracking numbers of the registered post. So check your number and name and keep track of the post man to get the Original AMIE Section A Grade Card.

The Postal Tracking numbers given will take 2 to 3 days to show the status in Indian Postal Website.

1. For Branch Code and Subject Codes, please refer Rules (Vol.1) effective from summer 2005 examinations as per Revised Syllabi. Also available at www.ieindia.org- Academic- Information- Course content. 

2. A candidate is required to send a demand draft of `4800/- towards registration fee with application form. 

3. Candidate is expected to be engaged in engineering profession with a registered engineering establishment. As such the signature of the Engineer/Employing Authority is prerequisite in the application form. Certification by T/ST members will not be accepted. 

4. Candidate is required to opt three optional subjects from any one group. 

5. Please affix one passport size photograph on the specified space. No separate Identity Card will be issued for Section B Examination. You will have to use the existing Identity card for Section B examinations as well.

6. In case your recorded address is changed, please fill up the form for change of address/replacement of Identity Card.

7. Demand Draft(s) should be drawn in favour of ‘The Institution of Engineers (India)’ payable at Kolkata.

 Step-1 : Write Name and Membership number

Step-2 : Write when you passed Section A Ex. Summer 2016 or Winter 2016 etc with Roll number (Check section A grade Card if you don't remember )

Step-3 : Write Choice of Engineering Branch Code (Code Numbers only) Check Code numbers Below:-

CHEMICAL ENGINEERING (Branch Code 04)
CIVIL ENGINEERING (Branch Code 05)
COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING (Branch Code 06)
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING (Branch Code 07)
ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING (Branch Code 08)
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING (Branch Code 11)
MATERIALS AND METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING (Branch Code 12)
MINING ENGINEERING (Branch Code 13)
PRODUCTION ENGINEERING (Branch Code 14)
TEXTILE ENGINEERING (Branch Code 15)

Step-4 : Code No. of Optional Subjects Choice : Click on the below Branch links to view the subjects code numbers of respective optional subjects. Check and select the subjects as per your wish and keeping in mind the project work. Select optional subjects and do project work related to that optional subjects.

Step-5 : Write the details of the DD and details. Make signature with date

Step-6 : Certificate Of Engagement: Fill all the details in this part, SL No. 1,2,3,4 are self explanatory. This part is must for all. BUt in the signature part check this,

Designation................................ : Designation 
MembershipNo.FIE/MIE/AMIE/AIE........(Leave this part Blank if your boss is not AMIE/FIE/MIE)

Step-7 : Do the Signature in the block with black colour and Paste Passport size photo. Do not sign on the photograph.

Step-8 : Take the form to Corporate Member in the grade of FIE/MIE/AMIE. He will write membership number and name and signature.

Step-9 : Make a copy of DD and the completed and keep it with you. Send Original form and DD to the following address:- On the Cover Write ‘APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF SECTION B’

AMIE Project & Laboratory Applying Last Date is 10 May 2017.
Apply for AMIE project work and laboratory experiments after declaration of winter 2016 results. Last Date, Download forms. 

 Winter 2016 results are declared. IEI has published list of candidates eligible for Project and Lab experiments. So check out your name, print the forms and send the forms immediately.

 For all candidates eligible for laboratory experiments and project work after passing minimum of 5 subjects in section B after declaration of Winter 2016 results.

1. In case you wish to start the project work and/or laboratory experiments in Jun-Jul 2017 session, you are directed to return the 

(a) Application proforma for project work available below –“Guidelines for Project Work and laboratory experiments - Appendix – I” along with demand draft of Rs 3000/-(US $200 for overseas candidates); 

(b) application proforma for registration of laboratory experiments also available below –“Guidelines for Project Work and laboratory experiments- Appendix – IV” along with demand draft of Rs 7000/-(US $400 for overseas candidates) and (c) choice of engineering college/institute for laboratory experiments amongst the list provided in www.ieindia.org- Academics- Sections A & B examinations- Colleges for Lab Experiments, so as to reach this office latest by 10 May 2017. 

2. On receipt of the completed proforma(s) and fees, you will be allotted the project guide for guiding your project work and the college/institute for laboratory experiments. The details of allocated project guide and college for laboratory experiments will be uploaded in website after 28th May 2017.

3. Application proforma(s) with fees, if received after the stipulated date, shall not be processed in Jun-Jul 2017 session. Interim inquiries in this matter shall not be entertained. No separate hard copy of application forms for laboratory and project work will be sent by
