One of the Doubt most AMIE Students asking me is,

I have applied for AMIE Summer 2017 Exams Online. How to Know Exam form is Submitted?

How to apply for AMIE Exams Online?

Please Note that AMIE Summer 2017 Exam Fee is Rs 3000

Before Clearing about the Doubt, Read following Information which is clearly mentioned in the ieindia.org website.

AMIE Students can apply for Examination online from this link. Candidates, interested to make online payment of requisite fee by credit card for appearing in the Examination / Registration for Section 'B' / Re-registration of Examination and Change of Optional Subjects, are requested to click here on the Online Payment Gateway

Advantages of AMIE Online Payment for Examination-related Services 

No need of making the draft and paying commission to banks. 
No risk of loss of draft in postal transit. 
No more delay in receipt of draft at IEI. 
No delay in getting acknowledgement from IEI (through the 'Request Reference Number' and 'Authorization Code'.

The candidates are advised to ensure receipt of acknowledge in the form of 'Request Reference Number' and the 'Authorization Code' after completion of the transaction. The transactions without the 'Authorization Code' will not be considered as valid.

What precautions you have to take while applying for AMIE Examinations in Online Mode?

1.  You must take screenshot of the Online filled AMIE Exam form before proceeding to the Payment. Take printout and keep it with you. In case your exam form does not receives at IEI HQ or, if there are some anamolies, like wrong subject code displayed in Admit Card etc, you can show this form and appear in the exams by submitting Undertaking Certificate in the exam hall.

2.  You must take screenshot of the Online Payment Confirmation details. The candidates are advised to ensure receipt of acknowledge in the form of 'Request Reference Number' and the 'Authorization Code' after completion of the transaction. The transactions without the 'Authorization Code' will not be considered as valid.

3. Once you get the above details as screenshot, then there is no need to send any other exam form to IEI. But for your safety and peaceful mind, Please send the screenshot printouts to IEI HQ by Speed Post (It Costs you only Rs 35, but gives you peace of mind).

AMIE Students who attended the exams have to upload the photos/ Images of AMIE Old Question Papers. However, I find it very rare. Refer to the books which are advised by IEI as reference books. Previous years Solved papers are also quite useful.

Do you know the books Recommended by the Institution Of Engineers (India) for each subject of AMIE Section A & B? It’s available in Volume II Syllabus Books given by IEI. Do you know that maximum questions may come from the same books?
