Hi Friends : Delay in AMIE Summer 2016 Results and My Advice to you

Many Students feel very disappointing about the delay in results, I too was feeling the same, But What you can do about this?

1. You can just wait for results and then fill the exam form (Which will be late and u will not have sufficient time to study): I Don't recommend.

2. You can fill the Exam form without waiting for the result as per the order of preference. Like, If you feel that u may fail in 1 or 2 subjects, keep that subjects in last. (IEI will automatically exempts the subjects which you already passed even if you write in exam form). Place freshly appearing subjects in first place. So Start preparing the freshly appearing subjects and after results you can plan to study the subjects those u may get failed.

3. Do not waste your time waiting for results.

4. Start Studying immediately to get good grades.

5. Keep Checking the following link for results which will be announced in first week of October.

AMIE Winter 2016 Sections 'A' and 'B' Examinations

AMIE Winter 2016 Sections 'A' and 'B' Examinations

The Winter 2016 Examinations of Sections 'A' and 'B' shall be conducted at 70 Examination Centres in India and abroad during December 03-09, 2016..

The dates December 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 and 09 will be referred to as Day 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 respectively.

Applications submitted during the period mentioned hereunder shall only be considered for Winter 2016 Examinations.

Candidates not applied / applied but not appeared in Summer 2016 Examinations : August 22, 2016 to September 19, 2016.

Candidates appeared in Summer 2016 Examinations : September 19, 2016 to October 24, 2016.

A candidate shall not be allowed to appear in the following schemes, if exceeding the number of subjects as mentioned against each scheme :

Section 'A' (Non-Diploma) - 4 Subjects; Section 'A' (Diploma) - All Subjects; Section 'B' - 4 subjects

Photocopy of the Examination Form shall be accepted if copied clearly on A4 size paper only. The Examination Form should be sent duly filled-in directly to the headquarters of the Institution with requisite fee of Rs. (Rs.) 2000/- (US $ 150 for candidate intend to appear from overseas examination centre) by demand draft within the stipulated date.

How to join AMIE? What is the eligibility? When should i apply to appear in Summer / Winter Exams?

You can join AMIE as Technician Member (T) or Senior Technician Member (ST). 

                                   

Career Enrichment for AMIE:-

You must join as T or ST Member to appear for AMIE  Exams.

Eligibility to join AMIE as Technician Member (T) or Senior Technician Member (ST).

  Technician Member (T):- Every candidate for election as a Technician Member shall satisfy the Council that he possesses the following:

(a) Age : -He shall have attained the age of 17 (seventeen) years on the date of his application for election.

(b) Educational Qualification:- He shall possess an educational qualification recognised by the Council as given in Appendix I.

(c) Academic Training: He shall, in the opinion of the Council, be making satisfactory progress in the acquisition of qualification for corporate membership.

Senior Technician Member (ST):- Every candidate for election as a Senior Technician
Member or transfer from Technician Member to Senior Technician Member shall satisfy the Council that he possesses the following :

(a) Age:- He shall have attained the age of 18 (eighteen) years on the date of his application for election or transfer.

(b) He shall be engaged in the engineering profession as a pupil or apprentice or assistant under a Corporate Member and shall, in the opinion of the Council, be making satisfactory progress in the acquisition of qualification for corporate membership provided that temporary unemployment is no bar to his election.

(c) Examination:- He shall have passed either an accredited diploma examination in engineering or technology or its equivalent as recognised by the Council or such other examination recognised by the Council as exempting from passing Section A (Non-diploma) Examination of the Institution.

(d) Educational Qualification"- Candidates, who have passed an examination as listed in Appendix II (Part I), shall be eligible to apply for Senior Technician membership.

(e) Candidates, who possess any qualification as listed in Appendix II (Part II), shall be eligible to apply for Senior Technician membership, claiming complete exemption from Section A Examination of the Institution.

If you meet the above conditions, you can join AMIE. The admission to AMIE Course is open through the year. The admission procedure is also very simple. Check the timelines for appearing Summer/Winter exams as per the date of election as T/ST Member.

How to Get T & ST Membership:-

1. In order to get membership and join for AMIE, students can use downloaded 'Membership Form' or you can collect from Local/State centers.

(a) Download Prospectus (Read carefully).

(b) Download Application Form for T & ST Member. (Print in A4 Pages)

 

2. After filling up the form, the photograph and educational qualifications are to be verified by a 'Supporter'.

3. Anyone with AMIE/MIE/FIE grade can be a 'Supporter' 

Documents Required:-

Attachments needed along with the application form for membership are:-

1. Two passport size photographs to be affixed on the application form.
2. Attested copy of certificate to prove your age (say S.S.L.C first page).
3. Attested copy of Higher Secondary / Plus Two certificate (if any).
4. Attested copy of Final/Provisional certificate of 3 years Diploma.
5. Attested copy of Final Semester Marksheet of 3 years Diploma.
6. Membership Registration fee in the form of Demand Draft. 

Filli the form correctly, attach all the required documents as per the check list and send it to IEI HQ.

Wait for approximately 2 to 3 months to get Membership Card + Study Materials. Now you are ready to appear for Section A examinations.
